Lactation consultant, humorist, author, nurse, social worker, wife and mom, Carol Schlef has been making folks laugh for years. NOW, she does it on purpose! Carol is a Women’s Health Educator for SSM St. Mary’s Health Center, where she facilitates a breastfeeding support group, teaches prenatal classes, and speaks to professional and community groups. Carol is also the author of Mosby’s Maternal-Newborn Patient Teaching Guides, which was named an American Journal of Nursing Book of the Year.
