About the Speaker
Alia Macrina Heise is considered to be the leading authority on dysphoric milk ejection reflex. Not only a former sufferer of the condition herself, she is also the webmaster of d-mer.org and an author on several articles on the subject. She has been speaking about D-MER and educating others since it first became a named and defined condition in 2008. Alia has been involved from the beginning with what little information has been gathered about D-MER. She continues to work closely with mothers around the world who are suffering with the condition in order to better understand the variance of the experience and to evaluate what seems to help ease their experience the most. D-MER is the only subject Alia speaks on but she has several different presentations available depending on the target audience, type of conference and time allotted. Her conference visuals are professional and visually appealing powerpoint presentations. Though Alia is a newer speaker, her personality is one that is vibrant, engaging and stimulating which all comes through in her presentations and allows her to appear to be very much at home in front of the group of people that she is presenting to.
