Cat Got Your Tongue? the detrimental effects of gag orders on breastfeeding duration

Time-frame: 90-120
CERP:

With the rise in tongue and lip tied infants IBCLCs are working with today, more and more pediatricians are lobbying hospital administrators and imposing gag orders on what IBCLCs can and cannot say. This puts our breastfeeding dyads at risk of not fulfilling their breastfeeding goals…but also affects the future health of the infants in our care,

Additionally, when IBCLCs are silenced, they place our professional reputation on the line.

This is an interactive session designed to give the breastfeeding worker practical and persuasive talking points to put an end to administrative gag orders.
