Glenda Adams

Glenda is a Registered Nurse with over 20 years of experience in maternal, neonatal, and women’s health. She has been an IBCLC since 1997.  Glenda is in a PhD in Nursing program and plans to research the experiences of Lactation Consultants. She is currently an Assistant Professor at the University of Louisville School of Nursing teaching the Childbearing Nursing course. She advocates and promotes breastfeeding using various teaching methods. She is actively involved in breastfeeding advocacy. She is the President of Kentuckiana Lactation Improvement Coalition and a member of Lactation Improvement Network of Kentucky, AWHONN and ILCA.
