Parenting Tools for Successful Breastfeeding Outcomes

Time-frame: 60 minutes
CERP: yes

Breastfeeding is a primary tool for parenting an infant, meeting needs for food, comfort, connection, warmth and more.  At the same time, other parenting choices and tools may lay the foundation for successful breastfeeding.  This presentation discusses how childbirth, skin-to-skin, babywearing, co-sleeping, co-bathing, and infant massage help to establish successful breastfeeding – or to save it, if breastfeeding got off to a difficult start.
